HERE
A straightforward walk (about 98 miles) and absolutely flat around the Chidham
Peninsular passing the old mill pond at Nutbourne - now drained and the west
coast of the peninsular with its interesting birdlife and extensive salt
marsh. At Cobnor Point overlooking Chichester channel with extensive views
across to Pilsey Island, Hayling and the
harbour entrance and East Head. The
eastern side of the peninsular provides
views of the picturesque village of Bosham with
its Norman Church and of sailing in Bosham Channel. The walk then turns
inland across the peninsular conveniently passing the Old House at Home.

START- At the footpath at the end of Gordon Road turn
left and follow the footpath to the road at Prinsted. Turn right and follow
the road to the foreshore to Point A on the map - simply follow the
shore eastward around the peninsular to Point B
(most of this is along a
footpath but sections of the most southerly part of the peninsular can be
tricky at high water - check tide times

At Point B turn left and take the first footpath to the right, where this
meets the road, continue to Point
C,

The Old House at Home where refreshment may be taken.
Follow the road north to Point D.
Turn left at Point E on the footpath heading west until
it meets the shore at Point E,where a right turn will take you back to the
Prinsted.
