refurbished inside and out and much improved all round.

Positioned in the centre of Emsworth this Gales pub undertook
extensive refurbishment in the summer of 1996 as it now incorporates a
previous shop next door. A pleasant walled garden area to the rear
with seating for 60+. Owned by Gales and run by Mrs J C Murray.
Winner of the George Gale & Co Ltd Cellar craft award 2002.
Good pub grub from Linda's Galley. Excellent bar staff. Always a
friendly welcome.

large car park and has a small grassed back garden.

and mill pond tourist area of Emsworth. Offers a selection of meals. .
Positioned only a few doors along from the Coal Exchange and at the
other end of the car park behind the two pubs. (This car park being
the site of a former brewery) Owned by Phoenix. The pub has a
warm cosy atmosphere helped by real log fires in the winter. A
sheltered beer garden is a sun trap in the summer that has plenty of
seating to drink or dine 'Alfresco'.
