Emsworth's Gasometer - viewed here from the A259 across Peter's Pond to the east of the village is certainly Emsworth's most prominent landmark and probably its most controversial! It is, in fact, used  as a marker by returning yachtsmen and can be viewed in all its glory from Brook Meadow which is conserved by local volunteers. www.hants.org.uk/brook-meadow
